Cacophony

Our property ended being a little chaotic yesterday. A couple members of the SEED Homes team were making a few improvements to our access doors to get under our house and studio. They were also troubleshooting a small leak that we had in the studio owing to ice damming on the roof.

Meanwhile, an electrician was troubleshooting a circuit that was giving us trouble in the Bird's Nest, the micro Airbnb suite we have in 250 sq ft of the studio building.

Under the house, a spray foam company was applying additional insulation around all of our ducting. That should help make our electric furnace much more efficient.

It was two years ago on Christmas Eve that we were given the keys to our SEED Home. As a prototype, improvements and adjustments continue to be made. SEED Homes has been a great partner in ensuring that we have a home of which we can be proud. As the first of a kind, mistakes were made along the way. Kudos to SEED Homes for sticking with us and doing everything they can to make it right.

Through the cacophony we continued to work out in the studio. I started a large painting of a highland cow and got an idea to do a black and white portrait of Jim Morrison from the doors. Both will be finished up today.

Yesterday was my third full day of being on the Ideal Protein program. I've been close to perfect since starting on Sunday. In other words, I've stayed within the protocol to obtain maximum results. I am down four pounds in four days.

Day 4 - 190.9 lbs
