Limited Edition Canvas Prints

The most exciting thing about this painting journey that I am on is that I learn something new almost every day.  Sometimes it's a technique to achieve a certain look.  Other times it's a process thing, as I continually try to improve how I/we manage the workflow.  I'm constantly trying new things and seeing what happens.

Case in point was yesterday when I offered up a limited number of canvas prints of two paintings done earlier this week: The Puffin and Chris Cornell.  Doing my best to gauge demand, I offered up a limited edition run of 10 signed and numbered canvas prints of The Puffin.  A total of 100 signed and numbered canvas prints of the Chris Cornell painting will be available.

My amazing wife Heather manages the financial side of the business.  She was in a course yesterday in Edmonton when the emails started pouring in.  At first, she had no idea what was going on.  I didn't want to bother her with the details of this new initiative while she was immersed in training.  I also didn't really expect for people to jump into action like they did.

At this point, there are only a small number of puffins left.  Double the number of Chris Cornell prints were also scooped up yesterday.

Proceeds from the sales are going to support a philanthropic project that we will be embarking on, perhaps as early as late this year.  We are planning a trip overseas to finance and assist with the construction of a home for a homeless family in Cambodia.  The impact that Lee Chandler, Kent Lissack and their Bracelets 4 Buildings team are making is life-changing, not only for the families, but for the people who dig in and help.

If you want to reserve one of the remaining limited edition prints, you can do one of two things:

1) Send me an email:  russell.thomas@birdsongconnections.com, or

2) LIKE my Russell Thomas Art Facebook page and send me a private message there

The prints should be in in a couple of weeks and ready for pick up.

Cheers!
