Birdsong Studio and Healing Centre Open House

With the studio 95-percent done, the driveway a couple of trucks full of finishing gravel away from being complete, and Coco's fence well on the way to being built, we have finally set a date for the Birdsong Studio and Healing Centre Community Open House.  It will be on Sunday, September 15th from 1 to 5 pm.

This is primarily a chance for the people of Okotoks and area to come and see what we've done and what we have to offer.  I say "what we've done" when I really should say what Rob and James have done from Kunz Group.  They have worked closely with us to understand our vision for the property and how we want it to meet the needs of our clients and guests.  They have been so amazing that I almost can't imagine what it will be like when they are not around every day.  If you have renovation projects that need doing, you can connect with Rob at 403-660-5950 or rob@kunzgroup.ca.  Getting good contractors is essential to having a happy home.

By the time our open house rolls around, the walls of the studio will be once again full.  We will also be sharing Heather's healing space in the main house and the two AirBnB spaces we have available for friends and family that might be traveling to the area.

Plus, there will be a couple of free draws for you to enter.  Heather will be giving away a complimentary craniosacral therapy session and I will be giving away a piece of art.

Based on the number of vehicles who drive by 74 Elma Street, slow down and have a good look, we suspect there is a level of curiosity about what we've done to the property, home and garage.  This is a chance to find out firsthand.  It's also a chance to say "Hello" and meet our family.

We are hoping that Rob and James will also be able to spend part of the day with us, answering questions about the renovation and their collaborative approach.  It really felt like a team effort from top to bottom and we are eager to share the results.

For my part, I'm excited to unveil the fall workshop series.  I'll also have a wide selection of art cards, prints and puzzles that will be available for purchase.  I'm also hoping to produce from fresh new work in time for the open house.  We hope you will join us.
