My TEDx Fort McMurray presentation

It was an experience that I'll never forget, from going through the audition process to feeling the backstage jitters in the hours leading up to "My Social Media Timeline" presentation at TEDx Fort McMurray on March 30, 2012.

I hope that you'll take the time to watch this and share your thoughts.

Special thanks to the volunteer team that put this amazing event together.  It was a very special day in Fort McMurray.

I am so glad that your TEDx Talk is finally posted...and you mention my name! Thank you Russell for thinking to do this. I truly enjoyed your presentation. The little camera at the beginning is almost exactly the same as the camera we took years worth of pictures with. I have several albums full of photos taken with this little gem. I had no idea that your talk last 17 minutes and 50 seconds...It was so interesting and thought provoking. How has Facebook changed my life? How has it changed my kids lives? My older kids remember a world PF (pre facebook) but Gabi won't likely remember a life PF. How does it keep us connected and yet somehow distant at the same time? Anyway, I look forward to watching your talk over again. Sherry Duncan

  2. I had this revelation that the last time I did a Keyano Theatre mainstage show, it was before Facebook. That illustrated for me how much has changed in such a short period of time. Thanks Sherry!
