Meagher recovering at home

Phil Meagher is resting comfortably at home diagnosed by his doctor with a case of pneumonia.  “I ended up doing 220 kilometres,” said Meagher.  “That’s the longest I’ve ever skied.”

He began having a very difficult time breathing earlier this afternoon and had to call in some help.  He was transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre where he received his diagnosis.

“I need to take some time to rest and recover,” he said.  “I’ll be in a better position to touch base with people in a couple of days.”

“We would like to congratulate Phil on his incredible accomplishment,” said David Brady, Ski For Hope Project Manager.  “We wish him a full and complete recovery, and would ask everyone to respect his need for a well-deserved rest.”
